Field Of Innocence ? 27th September , 2013 Chennai : Little young men and young ladies , going around trees attempting to make up for lost time each other : this artwork on the dividers of the Juvenile Home in Kelly’s, Chennai holds no similarity to the lives of the Juveniles In Conflict With Law ( JCL). A glance at the young men here, consistently wearing blue, playing carrom would paint the image of the administration attempting to give an ordinary adolescence to the adolescents. In any case, the virus gaze the last give guests is verification of their guiltlessness lost . â€Å" You better not cheat . I vow to God I will execute you â€Å",says one JCL to another . The way that they’ve been â€Å"jailed† for wrongdoings as serious as murder has not decreased their aggression.To see 12 years olds looking at executing with so much conviction is discouraging. The system of graphing a JCL’s life in state run adolescent homes is on bewildered grounds . â€Å"We’ve no influence over the Juvenile Homes .
